OSTREA 600 Pilothouse Fisher

The OCQUETEAU Ostrea 600 Pilothouse sets a benchmark in the compact fishing boat sector. Featuring a lightweight, high tech resin injection technologically superior hull design, with a full  walkaround island cabin, the OSTREA 600 is the perfect high performance quality fishing boat at a highly competitive price.

The Ocqueteau OSTREA 600 can accommodate up to 7 people on board and is CE approved up to 150 hp, with good performance from 100 hp (30 knots maximum and 22 at cruising speed). This achieved by keeping hull weights to an absolute minimum through the most  advanced vacuum injected resin construction method widely used in the building of high tech racing yachts. 

The Pilothouse is bright and equipped with two sliding doors as standard, and its interior layout is simple and functional. There is full height standing room and enough space to accommodate up to 3 adults and still allow for full walk around access delivering more options for multiple anglers to find a space of their own. 

The cockpit itself is incredibly spacious for a boat of this length. It is deep and well protected offering a safe functional space for multiple anglers to enjoy their fishing. There is plenty of storage space above and below deck and an optional additional locker seat can be added, in front or aft of the cabin to provide even more storage space or a functional additional seat. The cockpit can be extended further over the transom with the addition of one or two fishing platforms. There is the option for attach an auxiliary engine also in this position. 

Built into the cockpit space is a low pressure seawater washing system and tank. There are also multiple rod holders within the gunwales with an optional additional rack available for the cockpit. At the bow there is a large anchor locker and space for a windlass to be fitted. A heavy duty stainless bowsprit is fitted and standard as are all cabin and navigation lights. 

The Ocqueteau OSTREA 600 fits perfectly onto our trailer partners EXTREME EXT1900 trailer and because of its low weight, can easily be towed behind a normal vehicle with launching and recovery made simple even with one person. Although the boat is rated to 150HP, the OSTREA 600 performs excellently with much smaller outboards such as 100 - 115HP and our recommended package engine is the SUZUKI DF115BGTL.
